INTRODUCTION:
Throughout human history, there have been numerous periods in time where
individuals from various backgrounds have come together to share their
knowledge and wisdom, either individually or collectively. This action
has given rise to the creation of such great achievements as the Library of
Alexandria in Egypt to the Renaissance of the Middle Ages, to name but a couple.
Since those times, there have been few repeats of such great human potential
- merging and combining to give rise to revolutionary new concepts and modes
of operating, leading to a complete shift in our perception of life and our place
within it.
Of all the councils, collaborations and alliances of the past, those which were most successful involved individuals from three major faculties of life: the Sciences, Arts and the Metaphysical. Collectively these three represent all the major foundation level studies, practices and beliefs that humans have. The inter-relation between these leads to an even more profound level of existence.
Our world today appears to be threatened by so many conflicting factors, resulting in a global feeling of discontentment. The breakdowns that are occurring simultaneously, on so many levels of life, are a clear indication that a major shift is imminent. This change to come does not only affect life forms on our planet, but also within our universe.
Society has been made aware of many situations which require urgent attention,
from global warming and poverty to drastically reduced natural resources. Most
of these issues are approached from a conventional angle. This, by its nature,
is limited in perspective.
The greatest step forward over the past 20 years, regarding the process of searching
for answers to such matters, has been to include the opinions and expertise of
members of the corporate and financial world. However, this has not always proven
to be the most effective strategy to finding long term solutions.
Imagine a panel of experts from the three major faculties, closely collaborating and contributing to a process aimed to bring about solutions to current global issues?
This is the purpose and intention of the SCIARTMET Interface. It is a round table dialogue, an alternative Peace Forum, a consciously determined effort to reach tangible and sustainable solutions to the predicament we find ourselves in.
SCIARTMET offers a new direction toward developments that humanity can create for itself.
